Outpatient clinic and day care unit 

The nursing team at the day care unit consists of the head of the care unit, a team leader, nurse practitioners and research nurses. The team closely works together with the medical oncologists who have their daily consulting hours there and with the administrative workers, who among others arrange the appointments with the patients. The day care unit has 16 beds, divided over 5 rooms.

The patients come there at their first treatment for a consult with a nurse, who takes the time to get acquainted, to inform the patient about the treatment and to see whether extra support is needed.
