Training and education programme

You are expected to complete a basic PhD training programme consisting of at least 30 EC, which is equivalent to 840 hours. 

The basic training consists of mandatory courses as well as elective ones. The training and education programme for CCA and AI&II PhD candidates can be found here. 

CCA and AI&II may grant exemptions when the PhD candidate has followed a similar course or has acquired the necessary knowledge in a different way. Please include a letter with motivation from your promotor and a short description of the alternative course /  activity in the Training and Supervision plan. This also counts for a AIOS and external PhD student.
