The division Oncogenetics of the Clinical Genetics department has a longstanding interest in processes essential for the maintenance of genomic stability. The chromosomal instability syndromes Fanconi anemia, Roberts syndrome and Warsaw Breakage syndrome are currently studied as model systems. Closely related projects focus on breast cancer susceptibility genes, oxygen tolerance and retinoblastoma.

The research of the division Oncogenetics is embedded in the CCA/V-ICI research program Oncogenesis.
